Pedram is an energy expert with a passion for the environment and renewable energy. For the past few years, he has worked on industrial and academic projects including optimisation of energy systems and hydrogen production. As a renewable energy professional, his goals include advancing the production of green hydrogen and e-fuels.
Prior to taking on his role at Energy Estate, Pedram gained valuable experience in plasma reaction engineering, methane/CO2 conversion and hydrogen production as a PhD student and research assistant at the University of Newcastle. During his PhD he was focused on increasing the selectivity of methane reactions towards hydrogen and producing ammonia as an energy carrier.
Before moving to Australia Pedram was employed by various engineering consulting firms working on optimisation of energy systems including heat exchangers, fired heaters, furnaces and gas flare systems. During his employment with Petro Arya Engineering company he developed an advanced steam-assisted flare tip to be used in gas processing plants.
Pedram is very passionate about supporting and collaborating with renewable energy startups, especially those who work on concentrated solar power systems.
