San Luis Industrial Complex

The San Luis Industrial Complex (SLIC) is strategically located in the Central Valley region of California. The location benefits from its proximity to existing infrastructure including Highway I-5, the San Luis Reservoir, the major Los Banos sub-station, and connectivity with the Santa Clara Valley and Silicon Valley through the Pacheco Pass.

As proposed, SLIC will support the sustainable growth of regional industries, delivering zero-emission solutions for the large-scale agricultural sector in the Central Valley and growing industries such as defense, transport, and digital infrastructure.

Advantages Of SLIC

The proposed San Luis Industrial Complex will deliver a low-cost clean energy enabled industrial precinct, facilitating energy resilience for the Central Valley and supporting renewable fuels, digital infrastructure and the agriculture industry to deliver enduring economic regional development.

Renewable Energy

Production of renewable energy from large-scale land-based and floating solar located around the San Luis Reservoir for use in the San Luis Industrial Complex.

Sustainable Data Centres

The proposed industrial complex will include sustainable data centres located close to Silicon Valley powered by on-site power and sustainable back-up solutions.

Green Hydrogen

Green hydrogen forms the heart of the San Luis Industrial Complex turning the renewable energy produced on site into a fuel to help decarbonise local transport and industry as well as providing back-up power solutions for digital infrastructure.

Access To Water

Floating solar installed on the reservoir will mitigate against evaporative water losses, leading to water savings
