Solar Projects

With partner RES, we are developing a portfolio of wind, solar and ESS projects with a capacity of over 4GW to drive the decarbonisation of industry and communities in Central Queensland. This portfolio will facilitate the rapid development of a green hydrogen export industry in Gladstone.

In conjunction with Renew Estate, we have a track record of developing solar farms.

Boman Solar Farm

Developed in conjunction with Renew Estate and purchased in 2019 by Spark Infrastructure, Bomen Solar Farm is a ~120 MW DC solar farm project. A solar farm of this size is expected to produce enough power needed by the equivalent of 36,000 Australian homes.

Bowman Solar Farm provides power to Westpac under a 10 year power purchase agreement. The electricity generated by Bowman Solar Farm will enable Westpac to achieve 45% of its commitment to transition to 100% renewables by 2025.

Springdale Solar Farm

The proposed Springdale Solar Farm is a 120 megawatt (MW) solar farm project. A solar farm of this size is expected to produce over 230 gigawatt-hours (GWh) of renewable energy each year, enough to power approximately 35,000 Australian homes.
